What Happens After Juvéderm?
For most clients, the results of Juvéderm can be visible right away. Whether you are seeking fuller lips or sleeker cheeks, Juvéderm can deliver quickly. Even better, the Juvéderm solution will reach its full effect over one to two weeks, providing even more pronounced results.
To achieve the maximum benefit of Juvéderm, be sure to use proper after care such as:
- Avoid high-temperature settings such as saunas, scalding showers, sunbathing or directly cooking over a hot stove. Why? Because these harsh elements may cause the blood vessels to dilate and cause bruising after the injections.
- Do light activities such as walking but avoid strenuous exercise. High-intensity activity can raise blood pressure leading to possible bruising and swelling.
- Avoid taking ibuprofen, if you have mild pain. Instead, try using ice packs to help alleviate any swelling and potential discomfort. This should not last more than 1-2 days.
